Yoga is one of the best ways to get a healthy balance between your body and mind. On top of that it makes you leaner and it relieves daily stress so you can live a happy and healthy life. But yoga isn’t all that easy as it seems, especially if you’re a beginner. If you don’t plan on spending money on yoga classes, just do it at home! Here are 5 basic yoga poses you should really try to master before going to a more advanced level.
1. The Tree Pose

2. The Mountain Pose
If you execute the Mountain Pose correctly, it has many benefits for your body. It strengthens the thighs, ankles, feet and muscles and it also makes you think clearer. Learn how to do it!
3. Downward Dog Pose
This pose can eliminate any stiffness and back pain, stimulates blood circulation and builds bone density. Reasons enough to include this basic beginner’s pose in your daily yoga routine!
4. The Cobra Pose
This pose is called “The Cobra Pose”, because if you do it well, you’ll end up looking like a human cobra! This pose focuses on strengthening your back, arms and butt muscles and it stretches the chest, shoulders, lungs and abdomen.
5. The Warrior I Pose
The last must-do yoga pose for beginners, is the Warrior pose. This pose has tremendous benefits: it strengthens and stretches many muscles in your body and it expands your chest, lungs and shoulders. It also stimulates digestion, balance and concentration!
