Whether you’re a seasoned rower or a novice to the sport, finally the benefits of rowing can be achieved without the river. By using water-based rowing machines, CityRow uses both cardio and toning techniques to deliver a fast-paced, high-energy, total-body workout in only 50 minutes.

Alternating between interval rowing and mat work, the class combines a high interval sweat and low-resistance burn. The core to the workout, the WaterRower, provides dynamic resistance to target your main muscle groups, increasing resistance as speed and intensity increase. This improves your endurance, revs up your metabolism, and calms your mind– not to mention burns up to 600 calories per session!

CityRow also focuses on the theory of “No body part left behind,” focusing 60% on legs, 20% on care, and 20% on arms in order to build up your body without adding bulk.

Classes include the Signature Row class which caters to both experts as well as novice, and the Row & Flow class which combines a cardio session on the row machine and vinyasa flow yoga.
